Current UK legislation is being determined so that no domestic gas boilers are to be installed in new build homes, with an ambition that no new gas boilers to be installed after 2035.
SO WHAT IS GOING TO REPLACE GAS?
There are several options available, most of which only suit certain architypes, meaning that even homes built today may not be compatible or suitable for the alternative zero carbon heating products we currently see on the market.
Lots of these products come with a high cost, either to purchase or to run, or both, and most have challenging installations, due to size, weight or complexity, not to mention the future hidden costs to maintain these solutions.
